[Abstract] In April 2020, British pediatricians proposed a severe inflammatory syndrome similar to Kawasaki disease, which was named as children’ s multisystem inflammatory syndrome by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States. The disease is more common in children and adolescents aged 6 to 15 years old, white and black people are more common, and the incidence rate of Asian people is not high. It often involves the respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system and other systems, Once the disease occurs, it can progress rapidly and even be life-threatening in a short period of time. Therefore, for pediatric clinicians, timely diagnosis and treatment are crucial. This paper reports a case of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in a child with Kawasaki disease like characteristics after SARS-CoV-2 infection. |
