[Abstract] Early detection of liver fibrosis can help improve its treatment and prevent its progression to cirrhosis. Liver biopsy is the gold standard for detecting and evaluating fibrosis, but this method is invasive. Moreover, due to limitations such as sampling error and inter-observer variation, accurate diagnosis and periodic evaluation are difficult. This review aims to expound the advantages and the latest progress of non-invasive diagnosis in liver fibrosis.
